Due to the shortcomings of the original design structure, the chain plate is often elongated and falling in the production practice, which is easy to scrape down the mine leakage nozzle, resulting in frequent equipment shutdown and failure, and it is difficult to overhaul the equipment during annual repair or fixed repair and replacement of the chain plate, so it needs to be reformed. So the customer came to us and asked us to provide them with upgrading work.

The feeder is powered by a planetary reducer and a pair of open gears, and the chain plate rotates under the drive of the main drive wheel. The ore falls to the rear of the apron feeder chain plate after being broken by PX1400/170 hydraulic crusher, and the rear ore is transported to the front through the apron feeder. Then it falls to the belt machine through the leakage nozzle and is transmitted to the next process 2. The feeding particle size of apron feeder is less than 350mm, the production capacity is 1300~1800/h, the motor power is 150kW, the reducer is NGW type planetary reducer, and the transmission ratio is 306.87. The whole chain plate is composed of 58 pieces of fish scale plate. The chain plate is driven by the main drive star wheel. The chain plate slides on the heavy roller through the middle side ring, and the middle side ring meshing with the main drive star wheel drives the chain plate to rotate, so as to achieve the purpose of transporting ore. Because the surface of the chain plate is often affected by the impact of ore and the action of self-weight, the chain plate appears elongated and falling.

Elongated, falling chain plate will scrape down the mine leakage nozzle, resulting in chain plate and leakage nozzle stuck, resulting in equipment shutdown. There is usually a large amount of ore on the working surface of the chain plate, usually in the range of 40~60t. Therefore, after dealing with the failure of the chain plate and the leakage nozzle, we should also deal with a part of the ore on the chain plate (generally about 20t), which seriously restricts the production.

 

In view of the above situation, looking for various materials and literature), after research and discussion, put forward two technical transformation schemes: one is to move down the mine leakage nozzle, add an I-beam control chain plate under the main drive wheel fall (scheme 1); Second, the mine leakage nozzle does not move, add two longitudinal beams in the direction of the chain plate (200mm long), and install heavy rollers on the longitudinal beam to support the chain plate sliding, so that the whole chain plate running elongated without falling (scheme 2). In line with the principle of ensuring the smooth operation of equipment and convenient maintenance, two technical transformation schemes are demonstrated and analyzed.

3.1 Demonstration of Scheme 1 Although the lower mine leakage nozzle is moved down to avoid scraping, the ore accumulation to the reserve leakage nozzle is caused by plugging the leakage nozzle during feeding, which seriously affects the operation of the apron feeder for sale. At the same time, because the chain plate slides on the beam, the resistance is large, will wear the beam, long time operation leads to beam deformation, is not convenient to replace the whole heavy plate chain plate, increase the maintenance workload.

In Scheme 2, two longitudinal rails in the running direction of the chain plate are installed under the apron feeder, and heavy rollers are installed on the longitudinal rails for support to reduce friction resistance, thus solving the problem of the chain plate falling and scraping down the mine leakage, and also providing convenience for the replacement of the chain plate and maintenance. This apron feeder adopts scheme 2 for transformation, which is more scientific, reasonable, practical and in line with the actual production on site.

By adding two longitudinal beams under the apron feeder as supporting equipment, which were not in the original design, to control the fall of the apron feeder, it can reduce the fault of the apron feeder, facilitate maintenance and ensure normal production. After more than 6 years of use, there was no production accident caused by the elongated operation of the apron feeder = equipment, and the transformation effect was obvious, with significant social and economic benefits. 5. By fixing the apron feeder for sale, the dressing plant shall add two longitudinal beams in the direction under the chain plate, and install heavy rollers on the longitudinal beam to support the chain plate sliding, so that the chain plate will be elongated without falling during operation. The transformation scheme is more reasonable than moving down the mine leakage nozzle and adding an I-beam under the main drive wheel to control the falling of the chain plate. The replacement of the chain plate and maintenance are more convenient, and the practicability is strong. After the technical transformation is completed, the equipment shutdown caused by the chain plate elongating, falling and then scraping down the mine leakage nozzle is solved, and the smooth production is guaranteed. The transformation practice shows that there may be some incompatibility between the design of mine equipment and the actual production, which requires the technical personnel on the production site to carry out specific analysis according to the actual problems, comprehensively consider the maintenance and replacement of convenient, easy operation and maintenance, formulate scientific and reasonable technical transformation plan, solve the difficult problems restricting the production, and ensure the stable and safe operation of the equipment.
