Apron Feeder In Cement Plant

    How Cement Plant Apron Feeder Work?

     

    Cement Plant Apron Feeder consists of drive wheel device, tail wheel tension device,pan- chain device and transmission device.

     

    After the head sprocket is driven, the traction chain in the pan- chain device meshes with the sprocket to drive the entire pans to move along the longitudinal center-line and the roller travels along the track fixed on the frame, thereby completing work.

     

    During the operation of Apron Feeder, the high-strength bulldozer die-forged chain is used as the traction part. On each link of the two rows of chains, the overlapping grooves of the heavy structure are assembled to form a continuous conveying line capable of carrying materials. The material discharged from the tail hopper is transported along the conveying line to the front of the body for continuous and uniform feeding.

    Drive Device

    Drive device utilizes an AC variable frequency drive system that integrates software with electronic and mechanical systems to provide precise conveyor speed control and overload protection.
    The main components of the drive device can choose Siemens, ABB, Sew, Flender and other well-known domestic and foreign brands of motor and gearbox, to provide stable and continuous kinetic energy output, with high efficiency, low noise, low vibration and other characteristics.

    Apron Feeder In Cement Plant Sprocket

    Sprocket

    Cast manganese segmental sprockets bolted to heavy steel hubs keyed to oversized front drive shaft.
    The segmental sprockets can be replaced in a very short time without needing to dismantle or remove other parts of the feeder.

    Apron Feeder In Cement Plant Pan

    Pans

    The pans bolted to the chain with high strength bolts and nuts, which can be replaced individually in situ without disturbing the rest of the apron feeder.
    According to different working conditions, Cement Plant Apron Feeder can choose heavy duty cast manganese steel or welded construction with ribbed reinforcements, which is suited for materials with high load and high impact conditions.

    Rollers

    The rollers are designed as a standard tractor rollers with sealed and lifetime lubricated bearings, mounted on the main feeder frame. The rollers has suitably spaced to provide adequate support for the chain assembly.
    The rollers can use world famous brands according to customer needs, such as Caterpillar, Komatsu, and Shantui.

    Chains

    The chain uses an off the shelf dozers chain (Track chain), which is characterized by small pitch error, smooth movement, high strength, large pulling force, and the chain has a self-lubricating device and a sealing device. The shaft is made of hardened steel, which improves the toughness and impact resistance of the traction chain, has good wear resistance and has a long service life.

    Tail Tension Device

    The tension device is used to tighten and adjust the horizontal position of the chain to ensure that the chain tightness is moderate and make it run smoothly. When the pans are suddenly impacted by the material, the composite spring can play a buffer role to protect the pans and other components from damage.

    Our apron feeder Pans are constructed by welding low-alloy steel plates, equipped with hardened shafts and special track chains. They can effectively resist the long-term erosion and impact from hard and large-sized materials such as cement clinker and limestone, and are highly durable.

    Our apron feeder has a production capacity of 200 - 1500 tons per hour, capable of operating non-stop for 24 hours, perfectly meeting the raw material transportation needs of large-scale production in cement plants.

    Strong Environmental Adaptability

    We have carried out a complete anti-corrosion spraying treatment on the equipment to cope with the harsh working conditions in cement plants, which are characterized by dust, humidity and large temperature differences. The equipment can operate stably within the temperature range of -30℃ to +50℃.

    Flexible Adaptation

    Our apron feeder supports a 0° - 16° inclination installation. It can be flexibly positioned in workshops or open-air areas, and can easily connect with upstream and downstream equipment such as cement plant silos, crushers, and conveyors.

    Maintain Convenience

    We adopt a modular design and a self-lubrication system. The core components can be disassembled and assembled without the need for complex tools. The wear-prone parts such as Pans and Rollers can be replaced quickly. The lubrication points are concentrated, the maintenance process is simple, and it significantly reduces the downtime for maintenance, as well as labor and component costs.

    We can customize parameters such as chain plate width and overall machine length based on the size of the cement plant silo, the transportation distance, and the production capacity requirements.
