· No matter it is in China, or other overseas countries, like Europe and Latin America, the laws are already in place, and strongly request the conveyor belt is enclosed with a protector cover. Because an inappropriate application of belt may lead to occupational health and safety hazards and accidents, include material falling away during the transportation, hit ting and badly injuring workers. There is also existing the potential risk that workers are dragged or entrapped into the transporting belt by clothing, hair and other loose elements
· In the four types of conveyor rainproof cover, the fixed cover and the closed cover are made of galvanized corrugated steel plate or color coated steel plate. Generally, there are 9 fixed covers and 1 closed cover in every 10 cover positions, and the two covers can be arranged alternately.During installation, the closed cover is pressed on the left and right two adjacent fixed covers, and the coincidence length is one or two wave distances.Note that the hinged side of the open cover shall be placed on the non-passing side of the conveyor, while the side with the lock shall be placed on the passing side of the conveyor.
· The frame of the fixed belt conveyor covers is connection angle steel or Z-beam steel, whose length is equal to the installation length of the belt conveyor covers. Weld the connection angle steel or Z-beam to the channel or small angle on both sides of the conveyor frame. If the supporting sngle steel is to be installed, first weld the supporting angle steel on both sides of the frame, and then weld the connecting Angle or Z-beam on the supporting angle steel.
· Install the rainproof cover from one end of the frame to the other end in the shape of "product". It is strictly prohibited to stand on the cover during installation. Do not strike or knock forcefully
· The belt conveyor covers is fixed to the connecting angle steel or Z-beam steel with self-tapping nails, with not less than 4 fixing points per piece
· Install one observation type belt conveyor covers every 10 pieces for an easy maintenance and check.
· The folding point cover is only used at the folding point of the convex arc of the conveyor, and the misalignment switch cover is specially designed to cover the misalignment switch. Both are covered on fixed type belt conveyor covers
