The coal mineral sizer is a new generation of environmentally friendly, highly efficient and energy-saving crushing equipment independently developed by us. In 2012, it passed the scientific and technological achievement appraisal in Henan Province and obtained the "Henan Province Science and Technology Achievement Certificate". At the same time, it has received multiple national patent certificates.
This equipment crushes materials based on the principles of shearing and stretching. It adopts optimized tooth shapes and micro-alloyed high-chromium iron materials, and can crush brittle rocks with a strength of 300 MPa or less. It has the advantages of high crushing strength, large production capacity, low energy consumption, and long service life of wear parts.
Raw coal can be directly crushed after removing iron and impurities, effectively simplifying the coal crushing process and reducing the construction investment and production costs of mines and power plants.
The equipment is widely applicable for coarse and medium crushing of brittle blocky materials in the coal, mining, metallurgy, chemical and other industries. It can also be customized with non-standard products according to the special working conditions of users.

The EXCT coal mineral sizer employs two parallel-installed toothed rollers as its core working components. The center distance between the two rollers is fixed, and each toothed roller is equipped with a unique toothed structure along its axial direction for crushing.
After the material enters between the two rollers, it is immediately gripped by the beak-shaped teeth or knife-shaped tooth plates. During the rotation of the toothed rollers, a continuous shear force and tension are exerted on the material, causing it to gradually disintegrate along the weak surface.
This structure essentially constitutes a rotating dynamic screen - particles smaller than the discharge size can directly pass through the gap between the teeth without undergoing crushing, thus avoiding the situation in traditional roller crushers where materials of all sizes are uniformly subjected to pressure. This significantly reduces the increase in fine particles and energy consumption, while also reducing the wear on the tooth surfaces.
Our equipment crushes minerals through low-speed shearing and stretching actions, generating less dust, achieving uniform product particle size, and having an ultra-fine particle rate and over-crushing rate lower than those of conventional crushers. The proportion of particles larger than 300mm in the output is no more than 1%.

Why is Our Mineral Sizer Suitable For Coal?

Moisture-sticky Coal Passes Smoothly

Our equipment adopts the principle of shear and tension crushing by two-toothed rollers rotating in opposite directions. The space between the toothed rollers forms a rotating dynamic screen structure. Moist and sticky coal with a particle size smaller than the discharge limit can pass directly without forced squeezing. This fundamentally avoids adhesion and blockage. Combined with the overload protection of the hydraulic coupling and the reverse function of the toothed rollers, even in the event of sudden jamming, the blocked materials can be quickly discharged, ensuring continuous and stable operation in humid conditions.

Uniform Discharge Particle Size

Our equipment is equipped with an adjustable secondary crushing beam device. The distance between the crushing beam and the toothed rollers is adjusted by the pad plate, precisely controlling the discharge particle size. The crushing teeth are arranged in a special helical shape, with strong biting power and high blockage rate, effectively reducing over-crushing. The proportion of particles larger than 300mm in the discharge is no more than 1%, meeting the strict requirements of the coal industry for product particle size.

Large Crushing Ratio

Our equipment can handle large pieces of raw coal with an inlet particle size of ≤1500mm. The material can be processed to ≤500mm in one step. The large crushing ratio eliminates the need for multiple crushing stages. After removing iron and impurities from the raw coal, it can be directly crushed without screening, effectively simplifying the coal crushing process and reducing construction investment and production costs in mines and power plants.

High Production Efficiency

Our equipment uses two high-power explosion-proof motors, driven by a hydraulic coupling and a hard toothed surface reducer. The rotational speed of the toothed rollers is optimized, with strong biting power and high crushing efficiency. For the 2PLF150/300 model, the processing capacity is greater than 3500 tons per hour, meeting the high production capacity requirements of large open-pit coal mines and coal preparation plants. The rotating screen structure allows qualified particles to pass directly, avoiding ineffective crushing energy consumption, and achieving high energy utilization.

Low Maintenance Cost

Our broken teeth are precisely cast using high-strength and wear-resistant alloy materials. The surface hardness is HRC 50-55, and the impact toughness is ≥ 48J/cm². The service life of a single set of tooth plate is no less than 3 years, and the coal passing capacity is 600 million tons. The crushing beam teeth can be replaced individually and independently without the need for overall disassembly. The equipment adopts a modular design, and the key components are easy to disassemble and assemble. Combined with the centralized automatic lubrication device, it significantly reduces the daily maintenance workload and spare part consumption cost.

Multiple Overload Protection

Our equipment is equipped with a three-level overload protection system: the torque-limiting hydraulic coupling realizes mechanical overload protection, the stall sensing protection system monitors the rotational speed of the toothed roller in real time, and the overcurrent protection monitors the operating status of the motor. When the crushing chamber encounters unbreakable iron objects, the system automatically stops and interlocks the upstream and downstream equipment for protection. The drum-shaped tooth-type coupling is equipped with special heat treatment safety pins, which precisely cut off in overload to protect the power unit and are easy to replace.

It is composed of explosion-proof motors, hydraulic couplings, heavy-duty reducers and drum-shaped tooth couplings. The supporting components are selected from international brands such as Siemens, Flender and SEW, ensuring stable and reliable performance.

Toothed Roller

Toothed roller can be divided into Primary coal mineral sizer Toothed Roller and Secondary coal mineral sizer Toothed Roller. Easy installation and disassembly of the coal mineral sizer tooth head, which can significantly reduce the maintenance time and lower the maintenance cost.

Housing

It is composed of bearing supports, side plates and wear-resistant liners. The bearing supports are made by integral casting of low-carbon alloy steel and are processed by a CNC boring machine in one setup to ensure parallelism and concentricity. The components are connected by high-strength bolts and conical locating pins, and after on-site reassembly, they can reach the factory test condition.

Synchromesh Gear

Ensure that the two-toothed rollers rotate precisely synchronously and work in coordination for crushing, preventing mutual interference or collision due to in-sync issues, avoiding severe wear of the toothed rollers and components, and guaranteeing the normal operation of the equipment.

Automatic Lubrication Device

The entire machine is equipped with a centralized automatic lubrication device. It can be set for the number of oil injections and the duration. The explosion-proof oil injection motor supports continuous oil supply for a long time, with high pressure and fast speed, ensuring that the toothed roller bearings are fully lubricated, extending their service life, and reducing maintenance intensity and costs.

Running Gear

Combined with a conical motor and an LH-type walking reduction gearbox, it has an automatic walking function. During maintenance, it can be moved to the maintenance area. During operation, no special fixation is required. The conical motor will automatically apply the brake when power is cut off, ensuring safe production.
