Belt bucket elevators are characterized by wide lifting range, large conveying capacity, low energy consumption, long service life, high lift height, good sealing, less environmental pollution, reliable operation, easy operation, small mechanical dimensions, high structural accuracy, beautiful appearance, and low cost of use. Belt bucket elevator is mainly used for lifting powdery, granular, and small lumpy materials. Belts are used as traction components since the Belt conveyor has vertical conveying, a compact structure, a small footprint, and simple operation. According to the conveying characteristics, handling capacity, and design structure of the belt bucket elevator, the corresponding Belt conveyor is widely used in the electric power, mining, cement, metallurgy, chemical industry, light industry, agriculture, and other industries.
Belt bucket elevator: It is suitable for lifting from low place to high place, the bucket picks up the material from the underlying storage, and as the conveyor belt is lifted to the top, it rolls over the top pulley and then flips down, making the material discharge into the downstream device. The drive belt of the belt bucket elevator is general the rubber belt, which is mounted on the tailor head pulley.
During the running of the belt bucket elevator, belt breakage is the more common fault. when the belt breaks, if the belt length is not enough when reconnecting the belt, even if the position of the tail pulley is raised to the upper limit place, the belt length still cannot meet the requirements of using belt clamp to joint, when this problem occurs, how to solve it? In order to resume production in time, instead of using a belt clamp to connect the belt ends, you can superimpose and connect the two ends of the belt together, the quick repair method for the belt connecting is as follows:
1. Align the two ends of the belt, and overlap the two ends of the belt, the length of the overlap part is 400mm.
2. Drill a row of holes(3 rows in total)at 150mm intervals longitudinally at the belt joint,4 holes in each row evenly distributed.
3. Take 6pcs 50mm x 5mm flat steels that are slightly shorter than the width of the belt and drill hols on the flat steels, the holes on the flat steels correspond to the holes on the belt.
4. The flat steels are clamped to both sides of the belt with special bucket bolts, clamp them tightly.
According to this method to repair the belt connection, not only shorten the Belt bucket elevator trouble downtime, make the product has been restored in time, but also the actual use effect is good, to ensure the production schedule, and extend the corresponding production time for new belt replacement after production stop.
