Sidewall belt conveyor refers to the belt conveyor with the inclination angle between 18~90 degrees, which is specially designed to convey the materials that can't be conveyed by general belt conveyor and will automatically slide on the belt, or the belt transport with space limitation and can only add baffle. It is ideal for conveying and vertically lifting materials at large inclination angles, and is used in underground mining and underground construction projects, open-pit mining, and large self-unloading ships.
The biggest feature of sidewall belt conveyor is the use of corrugated baffle conveyor belt instead of ordinary conveyor belt, its working principle and structural composition is the same as the general belt machine, conveying belt for the base belt, cross partition and corrugated baffle composition of the integrated structure.
2. Centralized dust removal method of China's large sidewall belt conveyor dust removal method, most of the centralized negative pressure suction bag dust removal process. In the bag de-dusting process used in the dust collection hood, conveying pipeline, bag dust collector, induced draft fan and chimney, etc.. The disadvantages are large investment; low dust capture rate; easy blockage of horizontal pipes, affecting the capture rate; large extraction volume, high operating costs; dust collector, induced draft fan and chimney, etc. occupy a large area; complex pipeline, large diameter of the main pipe, more branch pipes, long pipeline; more valve configuration in the system, the system air balance and adjustment complex; need to set up full-time operation and maintenance personnel and dust transport equipment.
The biggest difficulty of the existing large inclination belt de-dusting lies in the dust capture and transportation. A conical cover is set on its belt guide chute, which is connected with the dust transportation pipeline. In order to avoid dust overflowing out of the trapping hood, the guide chute must be under negative pressure; in order to avoid dust deposition in the duct, a high air volume must be used for conveying. Both factors require strong power, once the dust is deposited inside the duct, the extraction efficiency will be greatly reduced, the negative pressure inside the trap will be destroyed, the dust will overflow out of the trap, and the trap efficiency will be greatly reduced. After one or two years of operation, the sidewall belt conveyor dust removal pipeline is blocked, the dust removal system is paralyzed, and the dust is flying from the dust collection point. On the other hand, a certain amount of material and dust, deposited between the guide chute and the corrugated baffle, will slide down from the base belt bottom plate of the belt when the belt enters the inclined part, causing secondary dust pollution.
