Sidewall Belt Conveyor

The sidewall belt conveyor is an efficient continuous conveying equipment. Its core is that the wave-shaped sidewall on both sides of the conveyor belt cooperates with the cleat to form a closed or semi-closed hopper structure, enabling large inclination angles of 30° to 90° or even vertical, as well as "Z" and "S" shaped space curve conveyance, breaking through the limitations of traditional flat belt conveyance.
Our conveyor belts are made of high-strength steel wire rope core or fabric core as the framework material. The sidewall is firmly combined with the base belt through the hot vulcanization process, some models are equipped with intelligent monitoring systems to ensure stable operation.

It has low energy consumption, low maintenance cost, and is resistant to wear and tear and tearing. It is widely used in multiple industries such as mining, metallurgy, power, ports, chemical industry, food, etc. for bulk material conveyance.

 

 

 

 

The sidewall belt conveyor adopts corrugated sidewall conveyor belt with horizontal cleat which is generally divided into the base belt, sidewall and cleat.

 

We require the base belt to have certain tensile strength and wear resistance. To meet the requirements of angle changes during conveying, the base belt must be flexible longitudinally and have certain rigidity transversely. The corrugated sidewall belts we produce adopt a transversely rigid base belt with a special structure, which effectively solves the deformation problem of large-sized conveyor belts during the return trip. In addition, the base belt standards fully comply with international standards.

• We adopt special formulas and advanced production technology for the sidewalls to ensure their flexure and fatigue resistance at the edges.
• We strengthen the sidewalls with canvas and apply diagonal overlapping, which effectively prevents edge tearing and enhances their flexing performance.

• We produce the cleats using a special rubber formula and advanced molding process, endowing them with high stiffness, wear resistance and impact resistance. Thus, they are not prone to deformation when conveying high-density materials.
• When connecting the cleats with the sidewalls, we ensure that the cleat spacing is an integer multiple of the wave distance. We do this to prevent mismatches in movement radii between the cleats and sidewalls when adjusting conveying angles or passing through pulleys, which in turn avoids material leakage from the gaps at the cleat-sidewall joints and eliminates blind-spot accumulation during discharging.
