The transmission principle of the sidewall belt conveyor is similar to that of the ordinary belt conveyor. The main difference is in the structure and form of the conveyor belt. 1) Belt crack problems

2) Coal dumping problem

The original design of the heavy load variable angle wheel structure, due to the structural limitations, the diameter of the variable Angle wheel is limited, and no effective transition measures have been taken.

When the conveyor belt is running, it suddenly changes direction and the radius of running curvature is small, and the coal is thrown seriously under the action of inertia force and centrifugal force.

Measures taken: Using multi-roller arc slide structure instead of the original ordinary Angle changing wheel, belt running curvature radius increased by more than 3 times. to make the belt transition angle changing stable, effectively solve the problem of coal throwing.

3) Coal loading effect

The sidewall belt with the same parameters is found in use. The dip volume of 90°and 60° is reduced by 1/3. The main reasons are as follows: (1) at 90° Variable Angle section coal dumping; (2) The transition from the heavy load flat section to the vertical section forms a natural stacking Angle, and part of the coal rolls off. Under the action of the diaphragm, the front edge sags, which aggravates the coal rolls off.

Measures taken: (1) the structure of the variable Angle wheel was changed to reduce the coal dumping. (2) The stiffness of the diaphragm was increased, and the connection mode was adopted with the wave edge to change the flat plate form to the outer end to the front 30 Angle to increase the coal accumulation Angle; (3) Under the premise of not changing the base band size of the frame structure, the width and height of the wave edge should be appropriately increased, and the number of diaphragm should be appropriately increased.

After taking the above measures, the loading effect of sidewall belt conveyor is obviously improved, and the measured transportation volume is increased by 40%.

4)Coal sticking problem

Sidewall belt conveyor because of its groove bucket structure characteristics, and the raw coal inevitably water, in the diaphragm and wavy retaining edge and base zone transition Angle, especially prone to the phenomenon of coal sticking, and the higher the accumulation, not easy to fall off by itself, is the use of wavy retaining edge conveyor to transport coal to solve the problem.

Measures to be taken: Install the electric beater at the appropriate position behind the unloading point of the sidewall belt conveyor, and beat the back of the vibration return belt continuously according to the adjusted frequency to make the bonded coal fall off, with ideal effect.
