A Stacker Conveyor is a continuous conveying equipment used for storing bulk materials in scenarios such as mines, sand and gravel quarries, and ports. It receives materials from crushers, screens, feeders, or other conveying systems, and transports them to the target storage area and discharges them through a tiltable, rotatable, and even extendable belt conveyor arm. Eventually, it forms a large-capacity material pile.
It offers a high-capacity and cost-effective solution for material storage and is a core supporting equipment at the end of the crushing and screening production line.
If you are planning a bulk material storage project, using a Stacker Conveyor can effectively enhance the storage capacity of the storage area, while reducing material crushing loss, suppressing dust pollution, and lowering the labor cost on-site.
You can choose a radial, telescopic, or crawler-moving Stacker Conveyor based on your project requirements. This equipment can be flexibly configured and easily integrated with your existing crushing, screening, and complete production line.

How does a Stacker Conveyor work?
l Receiving Materials
Materials first enter the conveyor belt at the tail receiving section. They are usually supplied by upstream crushers, screens, feeders, or transfer stations. This is the "entry point" for the materials and is a crucial step to ensure uniform feeding.
l Conveying
Materials are conveyed upward along the boom by a motor-driven belt. The inclination angle of the boom is adjustable, allowing you to adjust the climbing angle of the belt according to the required pile height.
l Rotating, Extending, And Contracting
The most remarkable feature of this equipment lies in its degree of freedom of movement:
- ● Rotation:The boom can rotate around the rotation center, thus forming circular or fan-shaped material piles on the storage area.
- ● Extending:The boom can change the pitch angle through hydraulic cylinders or winch systems, thereby controlling the discharge height. The maximum working angle is 18°, and the maximum working height is up to 20 meters.
- ● Contracting:The telescopic model of the boom can extend or retract forward, covering a larger discharge radius without moving the entire machine. The telescopic Stacker Conveyor of EXCT can extend up to 60 meters, and the belt width can be customized according to the on-site conditions.
l Discharging & Stacking
Finally, the materials fall from the discharge point at the arm end and naturally accumulate into a material pile on the storage area. The key control point is the drop height: the closer the discharge point is to the surface of the material pile, the smaller the impact, the fewer grades, and the less dust.

Stacker Conveyor Structure
The Stacker Conveyor operates through the collaboration of multiple core components, each of which directly affects the stability of the equipment under heavy-load conditions.
Drive Pulley
Provides power for the belt operation
Bend Pulley
Changes the direction of the belt operation and adjusts the belt tension
Troughing Idlers
Support the belt and bulk materials, maintaining the belt slot shape
Return Idlers
Support the return section of the belt to prevent sagging and shaking
Conveyor Belt
The core carrier that bears and conveys the materials
Boom Conveyor
Rotating and swinging long arm conveyor unit
Slewing System
Achieving horizontal rotation of the arm frame, expanding the material storage coverage
Travel System
Responsible for the movement of the entire machine, meeting the requirements for site transfer
Electrical Control
Centralized control center for the entire machine's start-stop, speed regulation, and safety interlock
Why Choose Stacker Conveyor?
Increase Stockyard Capacity By Up To 30%
Our stacker conveyor has a wide range of radial rotation capabilities and adjustable discharge height. After a proper layout, the effective storage volume of your stacking area can be increased by up to 30%, optimizing the utilization of the site space.
Reduce Material Classification And Crushing
By controlling the discharge drop, we avoid the separation of large and small particles. This feature is particularly suitable for high-quality aggregates, coal, and minerals processing. For products such as concrete aggregates, fertilizers, and grains that are sensitive to particle size, this advantage is particularly crucial.
Adapt To Harsh Working Conditions
Our frame is made of high-strength structural steel, combined with heavy-duty idlers and high-quality wear-resistant conveyor belts. Even in dusty, humid, and heavily loaded outdoor mining environments, our equipment can still operate stably and durably.
Flexible Deployment
You can choose fixed, traction-wheel, or self-propelled crawler models. Our mobile models can quickly complete site transfers, shorten on-site installation and commissioning time, and quickly go into production.
Low Operating Energy Consumption
We support various drive units such as electric, diesel, and hybrid power. Our power system has excellent energy efficiency, ensuring continuous and stable transportation while reducing energy consumption and reducing daily maintenance workload.
Reduce Operating Costs
Our automated stacking system can reduce the need for loaders, bulldozers, and manual command, helping you save up to 40% of space and labor costs. In large-scale operations, one central control room operator can manage up to six Stacker Conveyors.
Stacker Conveyor Type

Telescopic Stacker Conveyor
If your project has high requirements for the accuracy of material stacking, and also needs strict dust suppression and control of material segregation, the telescopic stacker conveyor is the preferred choice.
It can dynamically adjust the boom length and precisely control the discharge position, making it suitable for projects involving the precise storage of materials.
Radial Stacker Conveyor
The radial stacker conveyor is suitable for fixed or semi-fixed storage areas. If your site has limited space and you want to achieve the maximum storage capacity by using radial rotation for stacking, this model is the preferred choice.

All-Terrain Tracked Stacker Conveyor
This type of machine is specifically designed for rugged terrains in mines and quarries. If your project requires frequent relocation of equipment and needs to be coordinated with mobile crushing stations for production, the tracked model can be perfectly adapted.
Stacker Conveyor Applications
The applications of stacker conveyor are very extensive, covering multiple bulk material industrial sectors worldwide.
