The working principle of the Misalignment Switch is: when the conveyor belt deviation, the conveyor belt touches the switch roller of the Misalignment Switch and deflects it. When the deflection angle of the roller reaches level 1 switch Angle, the switch sends an alarm signal. When the conveyor belt is seriously deviated and reaches the 2-level switching angle, the switch will send the stop signal, realizing the automatic stopping of the conveyor deviation fault.

Installation Method:
1. The deviation switch shall be installed on both sides of the belt conveyor, and the position of the deviation switch should be such that the vertical roller is perpendicular to the belt side plane and the belt side edge is fixed at 1/4-1/3 of the roller in a suitable position.
2. The distance between the vertical roller and the belt should normally be within the natural offset of the belt, plus 50~100 mm.
3. The deviation switches are mounted in pairs at the head, tail, and intermediate positions. In general, three pairs of tapes having a length of 100 meters are suitable.
4. After the mounting bracket is welded or bolted to the machine frame, tighten the running switch to the mounting bracket with bolts.

Working Principle of Belt Sway Switch
The Belt sway switch has generally two operating points ⇒ One for the Alarm and The other for the Tripping.
There may be a chance that the conveyor belt touches the roller while running and it pushes the roller lever. When the lever tilts and reaches at 20 °C, it is the point at which it gives an alarm signal to the user. When the lever angle reaches above 35 °C, it gives an emergency stop signal to the belt conveyor and remains in this condition until the belt starts running in the proper position.
The belt sway switches detect any deviation or displacement in the running belt and thus prevents it from further damage. The belt sway switch is made of high-reliability micro switches, ball-bearing, and a roller lever which is tilted at 75 °C.
