Corrugated Sidewall Belt Conveyors

Corrugated Sidewall Belt Conveyors, also known as Sidewall Belt Conveyor, use conveyor belts with sidewalls and cleats. The conveying angle can reach 90 degrees, making it highly suitable for large-angle conveying and vertical material lifting.
The advantages of Corrugated Sidewall Belt Conveyors include not only saving floor space but also reducing equipment and construction costs, resulting in high overall economic benefits. Its structure is simple, installation and maintenance are convenient; it operates smoothly and reliably, has low energy consumption, low noise, a large conveying capacity, and does not cause damage or harm to the materials.
It is widely used in industries such as coal, grain, building materials, construction, metallurgy, power, chemical industry, and light industry. It can also convey various bulk materials with a bulk density of 0.5 to 2.5 t/m³ within an environmental temperature range of -25 to 40 degrees Celsius.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Corrugated Sidewall Belt Conveyors adopts corrugated sidewall conveyor belt with horizontal cleat which is generally divided into the base belt, sidewall and cleat.

 

We require the base belt to have certain tensile strength and wear resistance. To meet the requirements of angle changes during conveying, the base belt must be flexible longitudinally and have certain rigidity transversely. The corrugated sidewall belts we produce adopt a transversely rigid base belt with a special structure, which effectively solves the deformation problem of large-sized conveyor belts during the return trip. In addition, the base belt standards fully comply with international standards.

• We adopt special formulas and advanced production technology for the sidewalls to ensure their flexure and fatigue resistance at the edges.
• We strengthen the sidewalls with canvas and apply diagonal overlapping, which effectively prevents edge tearing and enhances their flexing performance.

• We produce the cleats using a special rubber formula and advanced molding process, endowing them with high stiffness, wear resistance and impact resistance. Thus, they are not prone to deformation when conveying high-density materials.
• When connecting the cleats with the sidewalls, we ensure that the cleat spacing is an integer multiple of the wave distance. We do this to prevent mismatches in movement radii between the cleats and sidewalls when adjusting conveying angles or passing through pulleys, which in turn avoids material leakage from the gaps at the cleat-sidewall joints and eliminates blind-spot accumulation during discharging.

• Corrugated sidewall belt conveyors are continuous conveying equipment for general-purpose bulk materials. They use conveyor belts with sidewalls and cleats. Therefore, they are particularly suitable for large-angle conveyance.
• Corrugated sidewall belt conveyors can be used in industries such as coal, chemical, building materials, metallurgy, power, light industry, grain, ports, and ships. They are capable of transporting various bulk materials with a density ranging from 0.5 to 2.5 t/m³ within a working environment humidity range of -15℃ to +40℃.
• For the transportation of materials with special requirements, such as those that are extremely hot, contain acidic, alkaline, oily substances or organic solvents, special conveyor belts must be used.
