Side Wall Conveyor

The structure of the side wall conveyor is that rubber wave-shaped vertical "sidewall" that can freely expand and contract is adhered to both sides of the flat rubber transportation belt. Between the sidewalls, certain strength and elasticity cleats are adhered to form a box-shaped hopper, enabling continuous material transportation within the hopper.
The side wall conveyor can be widely used in industries such as coal, grain, building materials, chemicals, hydropower, and metallurgy. Within an environmental temperature range of -19℃ to +40℃, it can transport various bulk materials with a density ranging from 0.5 to 2.5 t/m³.
For materials with special transportation requirements, such as those with high temperatures, acidic, alkaline, oily substances, or organic solvents, special conveyor belts need to be adopted.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The side wall conveyor adopts corrugated sidewall conveyor belt with horizontal cleat which is generally divided into the base belt, sidewall and cleat.

 

We require the base belt to have certain tensile strength and wear resistance. To meet the requirements of angle changes during conveying, the base belt must be flexible longitudinally and have certain rigidity transversely. The corrugated sidewall belts we produce adopt a transversely rigid base belt with a special structure, which effectively solves the deformation problem of large-sized conveyor belts during the return trip. In addition, the base belt standards fully comply with international standards.

• We produce the cleats using a special rubber formula and advanced molding process, endowing them with high stiffness, wear resistance and impact resistance. Thus, they are not prone to deformation when conveying high-density materials.
• When connecting the cleats with the sidewalls, we ensure that the cleat spacing is an integer multiple of the wave distance. We do this to prevent mismatches in movement radii between the cleats and sidewalls when adjusting conveying angles or passing through pulleys, which in turn avoids material leakage from the gaps at the cleat-sidewall joints and eliminates blind-spot accumulation during discharging.

Chemical And Fertilizer: Fertilizers, carbon black, etc. For the transportation of fertilizers.
Other Bulk Materials: powdered, granular, small block-like, pasty and liquid materials. For example, in cement production, equipment can transport powdered cement raw materials; in food processing, pasty materials such as soybean residue can be transported.

 

 

For special working conditions, the edge-enclosed conveyor can be equipped with different types of conveyor belts to accommodate the following materials:
High-temperature Materials: For instance, in the metallurgical industry, high-temperature coke requires the use of heat-resistant edge conveyor belts, which can withstand temperatures of over 200℃.
Corrosive Materials: Such as acidic and alkaline chemical raw materials, require the use of acid and alkali-resistant conveyor belts to prevent the conveyor belts from being corroded.
Oils Or Organic Solvents: For example, oils used in the petrochemical industry, a type of conveyor belt resistant to oil should be used to prevent the conveyor belt from expanding and deforming.
