The coal bucket elevator is a vertical conveying equipment specially designed for the coal industry. It is suitable for vertically lifting various coal materials, such as lump coal, coal powder, lignite, anthracite, coke, etc. The lifting height ranges from 3 to 60 meters, and the conveying capacity can reach 800 tons per hour. This equipment is powered by high-strength chains or belts and is equipped with wear-resistant hoppers to ensure efficient, stable and low-failure operation during coal transportation.
Coal Bucket Elevator Working Principle
Coal enters the bottom of the elevator evenly from the feed port and is either extracted by the bucket elevator or loaded through the flow-in method. Under the cyclic action of the traction belt or chain, the bucket elevator filled with coal is vertically lifted from the bottom to the top. Under the action of centrifugal force or gravity, the coal is discharged from the discharge port. The empty bucket elevator continues to descend to the bottom for secondary loading, and this cycle repeats.

The hopper is made of carbon steel, wear-resistant steel or stainless steel, and the chain is forged from high-strength alloy steel, with excellent wear resistance, enabling it to continuously transport abrasive coal materials for a long time.

This equipment is highly adaptable and can handle powdered, granular and small-fragmented coal. It can withstand high temperatures (≤ 250℃), and is equipped with deep hoppers (SH type) and medium-deep hoppers (ZH type) respectively for transporting dry coal and wet coal.
