The sand sand bucket elevator is a lifting equipment used for vertically transporting sand and stone materials such as river sand, machine-made sand, and dry powder mortar sand. It grabs the sand through the hopper and continuously circulates along the inner part of the sealed casing. The sand is lifted from the lower storage bin to the higher storage tank or bin, serving as a commonly used vertical transportation equipment in sand and stone factories, mixing stations, and dry-mixed mortar production lines. With its powerful lifting capacity, it can quickly and accurately transport the materials to the required height, meeting the needs of the sand and stone production line.
Sand Bucket Elevator Working Principle
The main principle is to utilize the gravitational force and friction of the sand. The hopper scoops the sand from the storage below and lifts it along the conveyor belt or chain to the top. After passing around the top pulley, it flips downward and pours the sand into the receiving trough. Then it returns to the bottom, loads the material again and upwardly transports it. For belt-driven bucket elevators, the drive belt is usually made of rubber and is installed on the lower or upper drive pulley and the upper and lower redirecting pulleys. For chain-driven bucket elevators, they are generally equipped with two parallel drive chains, with a pair of drive sprockets on the top or bottom. The equipment is equipped with a casing to prevent dust from flying in the bucket elevator.

The entire equipment is installed in a vertical sealed manner, which saves over 70% of the floor space compared to the inclined belt conveyor. It is highly suitable for compact factory layouts such as mixing stations and sand and gravel plants. It can directly connect to the high-position silo for vertical material feeding, thereby improving the space utilization of the site.
Fully Enclosed Casing Design
The entire machine adopts a sealed casing structure, which can effectively prevent dust from spilling out during the process of transporting dry sand and fine sand. This design fully complies with the requirements of environmental protection emissions and avoids the spillage and loss of fine sand, thereby reducing the loss of raw materials.
High Conveying Efficiency
It adopts an inflow feeding and induced discharging structure, with a dense arrangement of large-capacity hoppers. When conveying sand, there is almost no backflow phenomenon and the ineffective power consumption is low. Additionally, it can operate continuously in a cycle for 24 hours without interruption, and the fault-free operation duration can reach over 20,000 hours.
Wide Lifting Height Range
The TD belt-type model can lift up to 40 meters per unit machine, while the TH chain-type and NE plate-type models can reach up to 50 meters per unit. The hourly conveying capacity can cover 4 to 800 cubic meters per hour, and it can be flexibly selected and adapted for both large and small sand and stone production lines.
Durable And Wear-Resistant
When transporting coarse sand and sandstone containing small gravel, manganese steel wear-resistant hoppers, thickened casings, and high-strength chains can be selected. The standard configuration includes gravity automatic tensioning and reverse-acting anti-slip devices, which make it less likely to lose chain, slip, or get clogged. Under normal operating conditions, the overall service life of the machine is 6 to 10 years.
Material Adaptation Overview
The TD belt type is suitable for drying fine sand; the TH and NE chain type can transport coarse sand, moderately damp rocks and stones. The maximum temperature of the transported materials can reach 250℃. At the same time, it supports non-standard customization such as anti-corrosion, explosion-proof, and widened hopper, ensuring that the equipment perfectly matches your production needs.
