The trough belt conveyor is a kind of equipment that conveys materials in a continuous way. It mainly consists of frame, conveyor belt, rollers, tensioning device, driving device and so on. In the course of daily use, there maybe occurvariety of problems and faults. The main common problems are as follows:
1. The motor cannot be started immediately.
The cause analysis are: Line fault; Low voltage; Contactor fault.
The solution way could be: Check the circuit,voltage and the overloaded appliance.
2. The motor is too hot.
The cause analysis are: if the length of the trough belt conveyor is too long or there is a blockage situation and the running resistance increases, it will cause the motor to be overloaded.
The solution way could be: Measure the motor power, find out the cause of overload operation and deal with the problem.
3. When fully loaded, the fluid coupling cannot transmit the rated torque.
The cause analysis are: Insufficient oil filling in the fluid coupling.
The solution way could be: Add oil as required, if there is a drive double motor, two motors need to be measured with an ammeter.
4. The reducer is overheated.
The cause analysis are: in the conveyor reducer, there are too much or too little oil ; the oil has been used for too long; the lubrication conditions have deteriorated and the bearings are damaged.
The solution way could be: add oil according to the specified amount; clean the interior and replace the oil in time; repair or replace the bearings and improve the lubrication conditions.
