What Are The Components Of a Feeder Breaker?

The Feeder Breaker is a continuous crushing equipment used in the open-pit mining industry. Besides mining, it is also widely applied in the metallurgy, construction materials, and coal industries. It is mainly used in material bins with certain pressure and below the hoppers, for short-distance, uniform, and continuous crushing, screening, and conveying of various materials with high bulk density.

In harsh environments, it can complete heavy tasks and has great adaptability to changes in the particle size composition of the materials, temperature, viscosity, frost, rain, snow, or frozen materials. In addition, it has the characteristics of uniform and accurate feeding volume, which can be installed horizontally or inclinedly, and the maximum upward transportation inclination angle is 15°.

Teeth Roller(Picks)

The crushing teeth are made of special formula materials after precision casting and heat treatment, with high strength, wear resistance and impact resistance.

The crushing teeth adopt special installation technology and design structure: adopt high frequency heating assembly, the structure is firm, reliable and durable. Unique and novel tooth design structure, deep spiral distribution, strong biting capacity, high production efficiency.

 

Hammer Crusher(Picks)

The hammer crushing tooth head are fixed by the way of movable teeth head, which is easy to replace and reduce loss. The crushing method using a breaker hammer has a significant effect on the presence of ultra-large pieces of materials in open-pit mines.

 

Conveyor Parts

The conveyor box is composed of several small conveying compartments connected in a row by high-strength bolts. Its main function is to connect the head and tail of the machine and support the conveying chain which slides within it to transport materials. The box is made of high-strength wear-resistant steel plates and has a sturdy structure and an attractive appearance. The internal liner is made of wear-resistant plates and is connected by bolts, making it convenient and quick to replace.

 

Chain & Scraper

The hauling chain adopts a high strength mining circular chain connected by connecting rings, with a long service life and easy change. The conveyor scraper is made of alloy steel, which has the advantages of high strength, high tensile strength, compact structure,  withstands strong impact, installs easily and others.

 

Tension Device

There is a hydraulic adjustment device at the tail of conveyor body, which can be used to quickly adjust the chain tightness through remote control even if the machine is buried in the material to ensure stable operation of the conveyor.

 

How Does The Feeder Breaker Work?

The materials in the silo enter the discharge chute through the connecting section and fall onto the chain plate. When the chain plate is stationary, the materials eventually come to a stop due to internal friction. A certain angle of static accumulation is formed at the discharge outlet. When the driving sprocket starts to rotate under the drive of external power, it drives the traction chain to move, and the traction chain in turn drives the chain plate to move. The chain plate then moves the materials towards the discharge outlet. During operation, the chain plate discharges the materials at the discharge outlet and then turns back on its way. The materials keep being discharged from the discharge outlet, thus completing the feeding and loading process.

How To Select The Type Of Feeder Breaker?

 

The width of the conveying equipment is selected based on the particle size of the input material: for particle size greater than 200mm, for example: if the input particle size is 1000mm, the effective width of the conveying equipment is 1000 + 200 = 1200mm.

 

Scraping plate type standard width: 1.2 meters; 1.4 meters; 1.6 meters; 1.8 meters. Length is based on 10 meters, and the increment of length is based on 3-meter standard sections.

 

Transport capacity: For the scraper type, it is 1000 tons per 1.2 meters. For each additional width level, the production capacity increases by 300 tons. The method to increase the production capacity of a single unit: Add the screen divider and roller screen.

 

Standardized width of heavy plate type: 1.6 meters; 2 meters; 2.5 meters; 2.8 meters. Length is based on 7 meters, and the increment of length is based on 3-meter standard sections.

 

Transport capacity: For the heavy plate type, it is 800 tons at 1.6 meters. For each additional meter of width, the production capacity increases by 500 tons.
