First, the choice of driving drum diameter: the diameter of the universal belt conveyor's driving drum can be selected according to the core layer of the belt, the material used, etc. These are explained in the DTII design manual, you can go to check. In addition to considering the above situation, the diameter of the driving drum of sidewall belt conveyor should also consider the situation of the guard and the partition board, that is: In the driving drum (similar to the changing drum), the guard like a fan open, too there is the possibility of cracking we can calculate in the selected diameter, the length of the outer diameter of the guard, less than the allowable length of the guard, on the right, that is, the diameter of the driving drum can choose larger better. And we have to think about whether the bottom plate of the diaphragm can bend to this extent in this situation. 2. Selection of supporting roller:

The choice of universal belt conveyor is very clear. The spacing of upper rollers is 1 M-1.2M, and the spacing of lower rollers is 3M. For long distance, the spacing of upper rollers is 2.5M-5M, and the spacing of lower rollers is 5M-10M (mainly to reduce the resistance of rollers).

And the sidewall belt conveyor because of the increased weight of the belt, the distance between the upper rollers is smaller, generally 1 meter. The support of the lower roller is a difficult problem, 1, the belt weight is very large, 2, the support surface is small. Therefore, we can choose from the following aspects: 1. Increase the number of lower idlers (long idler type), that is, the spacing becomes denser;

2, simply two idlers a group, increase the contact area. This is optional in the case of small bandwidth, now we support the guard, the strength of the guard, tear prevention has been greatly improved.

3. The use of short idlers to support the empty side, which is also a good way to calculate the reasonable spacing, diameter and length of the empty side.

Three, the selection of convex arc support:

Precautions are as follows:

1, the reasonable choice of convex arc radius, (can be larger)

2, the density of the convex arc roller (more can be more), not more than 10 degrees each.

3. When choosing a roller, you have to consider the force it bears. (Larger bearings.) If possible (a lot of force), you will use several small rollers instead. Why not use a drum instead of ----, the reasons in the above several, and the choice of driving drum diameter, you can analyze.

Four, the choice of pressure wheel:

1, the selection of sidewall belt conveyor diameter: to meet the requirements of base band diameter, but also must be full of the requirements of the side, that is, the side is squeezed together, the small press wheel selection, the serious deformation of the side.

2. The type of press wheel can be selected in the form of only pressing the empty side (tape stiffness is enough). If not, the inner ring should be pressed

Guard, can share, heavy and reduce the requirements of stiffness.

If the flange and baseband are pressed at the same time, there are two arguments. A, the linear speed at the press wheel is the same, and the inner and outer rings can rotate independently. B, the speed is not different, rotate at the same time. I prefer scheme B. When scheme A is adopted, bearing is installed in the inner ring, which has advantages and disadvantages. If the maintenance is unfavorable, it is easy to get stuck, and the speed is not different, scheme A is completely unnecessary.

Five, some other parts to choose

1. The concave arc of sidewall belt conveyor is made of reversing roller, and there are still many idlers (with convex arc). If you can avoid the material falling into the idler, it is better to choose the idler shape, otherwise, it is better to change to the roller. I refer to some foreign information, the basic use of roller.

2, the choice of tension, you must consider more than a fender, therefore, tension stroke is larger, (vertical weight can not) tail car type feasible.

3. The selection of cleaner, empty section cleaner is basically the same, and the universal model of head cleaner can not be used, which can be patting or pulsed air flow.

4, the selection of the rack, you must consider the installation performance of the tape.

5. The choice of funnel, because of the characteristics of the head cleaner, you must consider the collection of the slapping down material.

Six, sidewall belt conveyor some of the main parameters of the choice

Determined the conveyor capacity, sidewall belt conveyor bandwidth, belt speed, guard height, diaphragm form, spacing, is the result of comprehensive consideration. The following points must be noted:

1, with fast, easy to sprinkle, 90 degrees is generally not more than 1.25m /s.

2, the diaphragm can cooperate with the waveform distance of the side, that is the best.

3. The most important thing is the width of sidewall belt conveyor you choose, which must consider the lifting height, the weight of the belt, and in the selected case, the press wheel can support, at this time, how much the belt bending, whether it affects the use.

Choose the above points, we can calculate the power: you can choose now the relevant information on the formula calculation, however, often not allowed. My understanding is that since the tape is self-heavy, the lifting resistance required will be correspondingly larger. You may consider combining the weight (part) of the tape per meter with the weight of the material per meter in the calculation process.

As for the driving form, refer to other general conveyors. But be sure to install a backcheck.
