Our NE bucket elevator is an efficient vertical conveying equipment that uses plate chain traction and gravity discharge. The core traction component of the equipment is a high-strength alloy steel chain, which has a large traction force, excellent wear resistance, and extremely high conveying reliability. It is driven by a hard toothed reducer, providing stable and powerful power output. It can operate continuously for a long time, has a long service life, and can safely convey industrial materials with high wear resistance and high-temperature properties.
It is also equipped with two types of buckets (deep and shallow) to accommodate different material conditions:
- The deep bucket is suitable for dry, loose, and highly mobile powder, granular, and block materials;
- The shallow bucket is specifically designed for slightly wet, easily agglomerated, and less mobile powder and granular materials, with a wider adaptability.
It supports personalized customization and upgrade. The body can be made of various materials such as carbon steel, manganese steel, and stainless steel. The equipment parameters can be flexibly configured according to the on-site installation environment, conveying height, and production capacity requirements, to adapt to various complex production conditions.
NE Bucket Elevator Working Principle
The working principle of the NE bucket elevator is that the drive device drives the chain to rotate, and the buckets installed on the chain move accordingly. When the bucket passes over the material pile, it will automatically scoop up the material, and then, along with the chain's ascent, lift the material to the designated height. Finally, the material is discharged through the discharge device.
NE Bucket Elevator Structure
The NE series plate chain elevator is composed of the traction part, drive device, upper part device, middle casing, and lower part device.
- Traction Part: It consists of buckets and special plate chains. NE30 and below use single-row chains, while NE50 - NE800 use double-row chains.
- Drive Device:It adopts Y series motors, which are combined with a reducer (or directly with a cycloidal pinwheel reduction motor) and chain drive. (This can be determined according to user requirements). The drive platform is equipped with an inspection frame and railings.
The drive device is available in left-mounted and right-mounted types. They correspond to the left and right installations of the elevator respectively.
- Left-mounted: It is at the output shaft end of the reducer, facing the reducer, and the small chain wheel is on the right side.
- Right-mounted: It is at the output shaft end of the reducer, facing the reducer, and the small chain wheel is on the left side.
- Upper Part Device:It is equipped with tracks (double-row chains), anti-reversal devices, and discharge ports with rubber plates to prevent backflow of materials.
- Middle Section:Some middle sections are equipped with tracks (double-row chains) (to prevent chain oscillation during operation), or inspection ports.
- Lower Part Device:It is equipped with tensioning devices. NE15 - NE50 use spring tensioning, while NE100 - NE800 use weight-type tensioning.

Wide Application Range
This type of elevator has few requirements for the type, characteristics and size of the materials. It can lift powder, granular and block materials, as well as materials with high abrasiveness and those at a temperature of 250°C.
Large Conveying Capacitys
This series of elevators has over 15 to 800 different specifications. The conveying volume ranges from 15 to 800 m³/h.
Long Service Life
The feeding of the elevator adopts the flow-in type, and there is little squeezing and collision between the moving parts and the materials. The design of this machine ensures that the materials will not spill during feeding, lifting and discharging, which prevents the wear of the machine body. The conveying chain adopts a plate chain type of high-strength wear-resistant chain, which prolongs the service life of the chain and the bucket. According to the long-term practice of similar products in foreign production, the service life of the conveying chain exceeds 5 years.
Low Driving Power
This type of elevator adopts the flow-in type feeding, gravity-induced type discharging, and dense layout of large-capacity bucket conveying. The chain speed is low, and the conveying volume is large. When lifting the materials, there is no backflow or digging phenomenon, so the ineffective power is small. The theoretical calculated shaft power is about 45% of that of the chain hoist.
High Lifting Height
This series of elevators have low chain speed, stable operation, and adopt plate chain type of high-strength wear-resistant chain, so they can reach a relatively high lifting height (up to 40m).
Easy Maintenance
The structure is simple and maintenance is convenient. For wear-prone parts such as chains and bucket-shaped material containers, they can be quickly replaced and repaired, reducing downtime.
