We install a three-layer sieve network system within the drum: the first layer with a 25mm sieve can effectively remove large-sized un-decomposed impurities, the second layer with a 15mm sieve is specifically designed for separating medium-sized particles, and the third layer with an 8mm sieve can precisely collect fine decomposed compost. The screening efficiency of our equipment can be stably maintained at over 95%, significantly enhancing the commercial value of the finished compost.
How Compost Rotary Trommel Sieve Work?
The working principle of our Compost Rotary Trommel Sieve is based on the classic mechanical screening theory.
When the material to be processed is fed into the inclined rotating screen cylinder through the feed port, the material slides down along the inner wall of the screen cylinder under the action of gravity.
The smaller particles pass through the sieve holes during the rotation process for classification, while the larger particles continue to move forward until they are discharged from the discharge end.
During the entire process, the screen cylinder rotates at a speed of 3-12 rpm at a constant speed, ensuring that the material stays in the screening area for 120-180 seconds to complete thorough screening.

The Compost Rotary Trommel Sieve is mainly composed of the following parts:
1. Screen cylinder: The screen cylinder is the core component of the Compost Rotary Trommel Sieve , usually in a cylindrical shape. We are equipped with permanent magnet synchronous motors and a variable frequency control system, enabling the power output to adaptively match the material characteristics. The daily power consumption for processing 200 tons of materials can be controlled within 180 kilowatt-hours.
06/ Environmental sealing structure
We adopt a double-shell design and negative pressure dust removal system to ensure that the dust concentration during operation is below 10mg/m³. We also equip a biological odor removal system to fully meet the environmental protection standards for organic fertilizer production.

Compost Rotary Trommel Sieve No-load Test
I. Preparation before debugging:
1. After the installation of all parts of the roller screen and the inspection, a test run can be carried out. Before the test run, it should be checked in detail that each component is installed correctly as shown in the drawing, each fastener is firm, and whether there are obstacles around the screen body that hinder the operation of the roller screen;
2. Put the rectangular access door in an open position, and rotate the sieve cylinder by manual turning to observe whether the comb-type sieve cleaning mechanism is stuck or frictions, if so, it can be adjusted by adjusting bolts;
3. Check each bearing seat, transmission should be well lubricated, the transmission oil level should be appropriate;
4. The power supply joint should be firm and reliable, with good insulation, correct grounding.
Ⅱ No-load test
1. Point the motor control button, check the motor steering should be consistent with the cage Compost Rotary Trommel Sieve as shown;
2. Start the equipment for 4-6 hours and observe the operation of the roller screen. If abnormal sound or other phenomena are found, stop the machine in time to check, find out the cause, and troubleshoot.
The following items should be checked during the test run for 4-6 hours:
A. Large shaft bearing temperature: the high temperature shall not exceed 75℃ and the temperature rise shall not exceed 45℃.
B. Tighten bolts in all places if they are loose.
