The Disc Chain Conveyor is a closed-type continuous conveying equipment specifically designed for powders, granular materials, and small block-shaped materials. How Disc Chain Conveyor Work?
When in horizontal transportation, the material particles are subjected to the thrust of the chain & disc in the direction of movement.
When the internal friction force between the layers of the material is greater than the external friction force between the material and the pipe wall, the material moves forward along with the chain & disc, forming a stable material flow;
When in vertical transportation, the material particles in the pipe are subjected to the upward thrust of the chain & disc. Because the lower feeding prevents the upper material from sliding down, a lateral side pressure is generated, thus enhancing the internal friction force of the material. When the internal friction force between the materials is greater than the external friction force between the material and the inner wall of the pipe and the weight of the material, the material moves upward along with the chain & disc, forming a continuous material flow.

The conveying process is smooth, with minimal internal movement of the materials and few damages, ensuring the quality of the materials. It is suitable for abrasive materials.
